RSPO Membership
The Miyoshi Kasei Group has been a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) since 2018 and achieved Supply Chain Certification (Mass Balance) across all group sites in 2023.Through our RSPO engagement, we actively contribute to addressing environmental challenges such as deforestation and are committed to delivering sustainable value to our customers and society.

Resource Recycling
We promote a circular economy by making effective use of limited natural resources. The Miyoshi Kasei Group conducts recycling initiatives, including cardboard and paper recovery, across all sites. In parallel, we are advancing efforts to enhance sustainable water resource management through site-specific initiatives.

Organic and Natural Certified Products
The Miyoshi Kasei Group provides COSMOS-certified products, ensuring the use of organic and natural ingredients. Through these offerings, we support the growing global demand for natural and environmentally conscious cosmetic solutions.

Solar Power Generation
As part of our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, we have installed solar panels at our sites in the United States and Europe. At our U.S. site, approximately 40% of the facility’s electricity demand is supplied by solar power, while at our European site, approximately 12% is covered.

Use of Renewable (Green) Electricity
At our sites in Japan and China, we have begun using green electricity generated from renewable energy sources, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsible Sourcing and Human Rights
As part of our commitment to sustainable sourcing, the Miyoshi Kasei Group participates in initiatives such as the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI). Through these efforts, we work to eliminate forced labor and child labor at the source of raw materials.

Work-Life Balance
The Miyoshi Kasei Group implements various initiatives to promote work-life balance, enabling both employees and the company to grow together.
We conduct regular HR interviews at all sites and support diverse working styles by providing access to childcare leave and other leave systems as needed. Additionally, as part of career development, we aim to allocate 1% of annual working hours to internal and external training programs.

Creating a Workplace Free from Discrimination and Harassment
We are committed to maintaining a workplace where all employees are respected and can work comfortably.
We conduct training programs on harassment and discrimination for all employees across all sites and have established compliance hotlines.
Miyoshi Suzhou, China, have maintained SA8000 certification for social accountability since 2014.

Miyoshi Kasei Group’s Quality Assurance System
We actively respond to customer audits and conduct regular internal audits to ensure that our operations comply with Miyoshi Kasei’s quality management system procedures, making improvements as necessary. Our U.S. site holds cGMP certification, and our China site has maintained ISO 9001 certification since 2015.
We also provide ongoing training and share regulatory updates to ensure that all employees maintain a high level of compliance awareness and technical knowledge.

CSR Guidelines of the Group
To clearly define our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities, we have established the “Miyoshi Kasei Group CSR Charter” and Environment, Social and Governance policies. We regard all suppliers as partners in achieving sustainable growth and conduct business based on the highest standards of compliance and ethics. When initiating new business relationships, we request understanding and agreement with the “Miyoshi Kasei Group CSR Code of Conduct.”
